Core Mechanics
Toughness System
- Generation: Shield Slam, Shields Up, and successful Blocks generate Toughness
- Maximum: Based on Strength stat (1 Strength = 1 Toughness)
- Effect: Reduces damage taken by Helena
- Display: Shown as a bar to the right of your character
Spirit System
- Generation: Generated through combat and abilities
- Maximum: 100 Spirit
- Spender Abilities: Siegebreaker (100 Spirit)
- Strategy: Pool Spirit for powerful Siegebreaker ability
Block System
- Base Block Chance: 15% (from game files)
- Strength Scaling: 0.6% per Strength point (assumed from testing)
- Shields Up Bonus: +25% block chance (from game files)
- Maximum: Capped at 100% block chance
- Example: 1000 Strength = 15% + 6% + 25% (with Shields Up) = 46% block chance
Global Cooldown (GCD)
- Duration: 1.0 seconds
- Bypass Abilities: Bash, Hold The Line, Iron Wall, Shields Up, Taunt
- All Other Abilities: Trigger 1.0s GCD
Tank Mechanics
Helena specializes in defensive combat, threat generation, and protecting allies. Her abilities focus on damage mitigation, crowd control, and maintaining enemy attention.
Key Tank Abilities:
- Shield Slam: Primary damage and Toughness generation
- Shockwave: AoE damage and movement speed reduction
- Shields Up: Defensive buff with Block chance increase
- Siegebreaker: Powerful Spirit ability with damage reduction
- Taunt/Grand Melee: Threat generation and enemy control
Threat Management:
- Taunt: Forces target to attack Helena for 6 seconds
- Grand Melee: Area taunt forcing all enemies to attack Helena
- Damage Generation: All damage abilities generate threat
- Strategy: Use taunts to maintain enemy attention and protect allies
Defensive Strategy:
- Toughness Management: Generate and maintain Toughness for damage reduction
- Shields Up: Use for increased Block chance and Toughness generation
- Iron Wall: Prevent Toughness reduction during heavy damage phases
- Siegebreaker: Use Spirit for powerful defensive and offensive buff

Duration Options
- 1 Minute: Quick test, good for burst analysis
- 3 Minutes: Standard encounter length
- 5 Minutes: Extended fight, better for sustained DPS
Enemy Count
- Range: 1-20 enemies
- Single Target: 1 enemy (single-target abilities preferred)
- Small Group: 2-3 enemies (mixed strategy)
- Large Group: 4+ enemies (multi-target abilities preferred)

Unimplemented Features
- Second Wind Talent: +30% Strength buff not implemented (requires damage tracking system)

- Toughness System: Damage reduction mechanic not fully implemented
- Block Damage Reduction: Blocking attacks should reduce incoming damage

Known Issues
- Block Chance Scaling: Strength scaling adjusted from 6% to 0.6% per point (assumed from testing)
- Siegebreaker Cooldown Effect: Fixed - now only doubles Veteran of War reductions, not base cooldowns
- Hold The Line Cooldown: Fixed - was missing cooldown causing Shield Slam spam
